This is a touching moment when a veterinarian takes the time to console a sobbing dog after surgery. The touching event was captured on film, and it shows the kind guy tenderly cradling the small dog in his arms to comfort her.

For a little puppy that must grow up in a shelter, life may be quite difficult. But things became much worse for this sweet rescue dog when she had to be sedated. Luckily for her, she was in the most caring of hands.

Dennis Moses, a surgical assistant at Baltimore’s BARCS Animal Shelter, loves his work, but he adores animals even more. Moses is on hand to bring comfort to any animal at the clinic that needs it. That’s exactly what happened to Meesha, a little dog.

When their former owner surrounded Meesha and her brother at the shelter, they were just 6-weeks-old. Despite this, the two pups began to adjust to their new surroundings almost quickly. But, once Meesha awoke from anesthesia, she was terrified and had no clue what was going on. But she was comforted by the nicest guy in the world.

“If you’ve ever had surgery, you wake up not knowing where you are,” Moses said to THE DODO. “Even for dogs and cats, it’s a frightening experience, particularly when they’re young and at a shelter.”

The concerned veterinarian is shown cradling the befuddled puppy in his arms, speaking in her ear, and kissing her. This occurred just a few days after the operation. Volunteers at the facility captured the wonderful event on video. The clip was shared online by BARCS Animal Shelter, and millions of people fell in love with it!
The shelter reported, “Baby Meesha was getting off the anesthesia and was a bit worried since her body felt so odd.” “BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses comforted her by taking her out into the quiet corridor.”
