This young couple from Greensville, South Carolina, believed they had lost their dog, but they moved from being in misery to being ecstatic when the puppy came home on his own in an amazing manner!

Rajah, an 18-month-old puppy, became frightened when one of the neighbors let off fireworks in the backyard. It was a heartbreaking moment for both Mary Lynn and her boyfriend, who were certain they would never see their beloved puppy again. The young couple was distraught, and they looked for Rajah anywhere they might find him in the neighborhood. They even attempted to get assistance on Facebook but were unsuccessful. Although it took her many hours, the naughty puppy eventually returned home!

“I thought she’d be afraid since she was playing in the backyard with our other dog when our neighbor began firing fireworks, so I prepared myself for the worst,” Mary Lynn said. “I walked out to the backyard — and she was nowhere to be seen.”

When Mary Lynn and her husband Ryan heard the doorbell ring at 3 a.m., they jumped out of bed and dashed to the front door. They had no clue what was going on, and it was only afterward that they discovered that Rajah was the one who had interrupted their slumber. The doorbell camera was able to record the whole thing, which was a good thing.

“I’m not even sure how she knew how to do it; I’ve never shown it to her,” the mother said. Ryan was up at the crack of dawn, keeping an eye out for her. He saw her on the porch and immediately raced out to get her. She was certain she was in serious danger, but we were like, “We’re simply glad you’re back,” she said. Our group couldn’t stop laughing at how ridiculous that was.
