Man’s best friend – Instagram is full of hashtags. And, of course, there is no shortage of lovely photos on the social media site, which include dogs and their adoring owners uploading a plethora of images to the site.
The social media platform Instagram is full with pages where dogs and their owners are photographed embarking on excursions together. Others, on the other hand, want to coordinate their attire with the outfits of their pets. And then there’s a page with Reagan the labradoodle and his “Little Buddy” — the family’s foster youngster – who are both adorable and helpful!
Sandy Swiridoff, an Oregon resident, adopted Reagan when he was barely 11 months old from his biological mother. And Sandi was overjoyed when Reagan, who is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and Poodle, immediately struck up a friendship with another 11-month-old: her foster grandson.
“There was that instant bond,” Sandi said to NBC News. “They just loved each other from day one.”
Together, they enjoy doing everything, from cuddling in bed to hosting pajama parties to lounging by the lake. And the two of them have a great sense of style, often dressing in coordinating outfits or sometimes dressing up in costumes together.
Overcome with how cute the pair are, Sandi began to document the adorable bond between Regan and “Little Buddy” on the Instagram page, Reagandoodle.
Almost two years later, her Instagram account has grown to have 125,000 followers. The increase in popularity has even paved the door for Sandi to open an Etsy shop, where she wants to sell a picture book that is still in the works, and which is about Reagan’s friendship with his little buddy.
With the publication of this book, the authors want to raise awareness about the necessity of foster care. Foster Parents’ Night Out is a non-profit organization, and all of the proceeds will be donated to them as a thank you.
Her explanation: “I believe that there is a tale that has to be communicated in addition to the adorable photographs.” “What they’ve been able to do for themselves and for foster children all around the world is very inspiring.
The book won’t launch until next year, however, in the meantime, there is a Reagan-themed calendar that is available.
