Last summer, when Marcy’s family was forced to leave their home, they left her behind and left her to fend for herself on the streets. Her home for a while was an old cardboard box in a neighbor’s yard. She lived there for a few months until it was decided that she couldn’t keep living there.

Rebecca McGinn was paying a visit to her brother to celebrate her niece’s birthday when he mentioned a cat that had been hanging around in his yard. In order to determine if Marcy would allow her to approach her, she went outside and fell head over heels in love with her immediately.

From the minute she noticed Marcy, who was ill and homeless, McGinn knew she had to bring her home.

“I opted to adopt her because she was shivering and had hurt eyes inside a wet cardboard box,” McGinn told The Dodo. “I chose to adopt her because she was shivering and had sore eyes inside a wet cardboard box,” McGinn said. “She came over to me for stroking as soon as she saw me, and she was a delight to touch.”

Marcy was in bad shape when McGinn first brought her in, and after being examined by a veterinarian, it was discovered that she had eye problems, worms, pneumonia, a lung infection, and skin problems, which were causing her hair to fall out in clumps. Marcy was also suffering from a bacterial infection in her intestines. No one doubted that Marcy’s road to recovery would be arduous, but McGinn was just delighted to welcome her into his house and demonstrate what it was like to have a wonderful, warm place to cuddle up with a family that really loved her.

“She curled up and slept for days,” McGinn continued.

Having finally found soft, cuddly places to cuddle up on after all she had been through, Marcy became hooked to everything and everything squishy as a result.

According to McGinn, “the thing she likes doing the most is snuggling up with me and my husband.” The blankets and people are two things that she is really fascinated with. She appreciates the fact that she is tucked in and dressed. He or she spends 99 percent of her time on or in a comfortable blanket!”

Marcy is utterly thrilled with her new life, and despite everything she has been through, she is a compassionate and dependable person to be around. Her past may have been rough, but now that she’s found the right new family, they’ll do all they can to ensure that she lives happily and comfortably for the rest of her days.

In the words of McGinn, she “has the warmest and delightful disposition.” “She is really clingy and takes pleasure in all of the attention.” “She is a wonderful person who is friendly and trustworthy with everyone.”
