This touching story is similar of “The Incredible Journey” and illustrates how caring and devoted dogs truly are.
Ping An, a golden retriever, was living with her loving family in Qidong, Jiangsu, China, and loving every minute of it.

But one day, her family informed her that she would be moving somewhere else for a time.

Ping An’s family needed to renovate their home, and in order to keep Ping An safe while the work was being done, they planned to have her stay with some of their friends.

They put in their car and traveled two hours to their friend’s house. Her family said their final goodbyes to their darling daughter and returned home to begin the repairs.

In her new, temporary home, Ping An received all the love and care she need. But, despite everything, she couldn’t help but feel homesick.

She longed for her family and couldn’t stop thinking about them. After four long months, she simply couldn’t handle it any more.

As a result, she left.

The family’s friends were understandably upset to learn that Ping An had disappeared. They were concerned about her safety and suspected she was lost somewhere.

They couldn’t believe Ping An was truly on her way back home.

Ping An went and walked and walked for more than two weeks. She had just one thought: she needed to return back to her family. Nothing could stop her, and at the end, Ping An had walked more than 62 miles.

The adorable kid was limping and bleeding at this time, terribly malnourished, and absolutely weary.

She was determined to keep wandering until she was rescued by some caring individuals who tracked down her owners.

Ping An was subsequently taken to the vet, where he thankfully made a full recovery.

Her family was astounded by her commitment and loyalty and vowed never to send her away again. Nothing is more important to Ping An than her family, and she has demonstrated how far she will go to be with them.

We’re so thrilled Ping Ann is doing well and has been reunited with her family, and we know her family must feel tremendously privileged to be so profoundly loved by such an incredible dog.
