“Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson has reportedly passed away, as stated by his daughter-in-law.

Korie Robertson, who has been married to Phil’s son Willie for more than three decades, shared the news on Facebook on Sunday. She said that Phil was a man of God who always made an effort to remind people that death merely meant returning to the kingdom of God.

She expressed her gratitude to the fans for their kind prayers, and she assured them that the family would continue to honor him and his memory.

His family disclosed the news that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in an episode of the podcast titled “Unashamed with The Robertson Family” that was broadcast in December 2010.

This is Jase Robertson. Additionally, it was previously said that Phil was suffering from a blood ailment that was causing him to have health problems, and the sickness was only growing worse.

He was scarcely able to walk without shrieking out in agony, according to Phil’s son, who said that his renowned father was not doing well overall and was having a hard time just living.

His tenure on “Duck Dynasty” was from 2012 to 2017, and he also established the Duck Commander firm during that time.

Despite the fact that A&E is reviving the famous documentary series, the network did not mention Phil when it made the announcement that ‘Duck Dynasty’ will be returning.

It is unknown if Phil’s health problems prohibited him from participating in the relaunch; nonetheless, it is important to note that he was temporarily suspended from the program after responding to a contentious interview with GQ magazine in 2014, in which he made statements that were homophobic and racist.
