Over the last several days, the former cast members of “Simple Life” have been dropping hints about a new project.
Nearly twenty years after they originally caught the world by storm in The Simple Life, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are intending to play into what fans are seeking for and hoping for in their fresh new television program that will be shown on Peacock.

Just a few days after the heiress, who is 43 years old, and the daughter of Lionel Richie, who is 42 years old, initially announced their new reality program, a source has revealed to Entertainment Tonight what they have in store for the long-awaited sequel to their FOX series.

“Paris and Nicole are so thrilled to be working together once more,” the source expresses happiness. It is going to be a program that plays on people’s memories. They are not going to be abandoning their families and moving to a distant location in the same manner that they did on The Simple Life; nonetheless, the program will have a feeling similar to that of a reunion.

Additional information from the source states that “working together again was an obvious thing for them to do and a long time coming.” In order to do this, all they needed to do was find the appropriate streaming network and the appropriate partner. The two of them have a wonderful chemistry with one another, and they can’t wait for their fans to see them performing again.

The dynamic pair gave a sneak peek at their next project on Monday by posting a joint post on Instagram. The picture depicted a television that was suffering a significant amount of static, and the only thing that could be heard was the unmistakable sound of their voices uttering some of their most famous TSL catchphrases.

The New Era. Exactly the same best friends. On the post, they labeled it with the phrase “coming soon to Peacock.”

Furthermore, Richie posted a collage of images of herself and Hilton to her Instagram account on Wednesday, which sparked rumors that the actress and the singer would be getting back together. Richie’s post was the catalyst for the next week’s conjecture. Snapshots from their decades-long connection, spanning from infancy to maturity, were included in the collection of photographs.

“From Day 1: Sill and Bill” was the caption that Richie assigned to the post. Hilton made a comment in the comments section, stating, “Sanasaaaa 💖💖💖.”

Between the years 2003 and 2007, FOX and E! broadcast the whole five-season run of The Simple Life. The show followed Hilton and Richie as they experimented with a variety of positions, ranging from working on farms to working as waitresses. Following the dramatic altercation that occurred between the performers in 2005, it was canceled for a short period of time by FOX, but it was brought back for the third and final season on E!

Despite the fact that it is presently unknown what the new version of the Hilton-Richie collaboration will look like, it is almost assured that the program will highlight the women’ newly discovered happiness as spouses, moms, and business owners.

Richie has been in a successful relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden ever since he parted ties with E! in 2007. Together, they have had a daughter named Harlow in January 2008 and a boy named Sparrow in September 2009.

For her part, Hilton tied the wedding with Carter Reum in November 2021, and in January 2023, they had their first child, Phoenix, with the use of a surrogate mother.

In an interview with Denny Directo of Entertainment Tonight, Hilton raved over her husband and their small life together with their little boy. The conversation took place at the GQ Men of the Year celebration, which was held around the time of their two-year anniversary.

“He is just the most romantic man in the world, so he planned this whole day with all these gorgeous roses everywhere and all this Chanel — got me all my new favorite purses and jewelry and a beautiful diamond necklace,” she said in an interview. Indeed, he is the very finest. I can’t believe my good fortune.”

Just a few days later, Hilton made the announcement that they had become parents to a baby girl whom they called London. This was what destiny had in store for them.

For Thanksgiving, she wrote, “Thankful for my baby girl,” which was included in the announcement.
