This week, a little kid from Minnesota, who was only one years old, passed away after falling from a hotel window in South Dakota.

The Star Tribune stated that Madden Hein suffered life-threatening injuries and passed away on April 15, two days after falling from the third story of the Club House Hotel & Suites in Sioux Falls. He had been there for two days.

An investigation is now underway, but according to the public relations officer for the Sioux Falls Police Department, Sam Clemens, who spoke to The Star Tribune, the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, and the CBS station KELO, the fall looks to have been an accident.

“Everything just points to a tragic event,” he said in an interview with the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.

This information was offered by Clemens to the source, who said that close witnesses who had medical expertise aided Madden with care prior to his hospitalization. He had a pulse at the moment, but he was not responsive to any stimuli.

Several individuals have attempted to get a comment from Clemens.

In a post that they made on Facebook on April 16, Hein’s parents said that they are “having a hard time processing this all” and that they would be donating their son’s organs.

Their statement stated, “His organs are going to help so many other people,” and also included this message. “The young kid that we have is a superhero in real life. We will get the opportunity to participate in an honor walk with him on his way to his organ donation operation. Considering that this is a process, we will disseminate information as soon as we get it. Many people have shown their love and support for us. We have experienced it. There are no words that can adequately express how grateful we are for all of your prayers and thoughts. Thank you very much!

Over sixty-three thousand dollars have been received for the family via a GoFundMe campaign as of the morning of April 17th.

“Madden has two amazing, loving parents who are teachers, an older sister who is 3 and a little sibling on the way who is due in August,” according to the memorial statement.

“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for the love and support that they are providing to Madden’s family,” the fundraiser said.
