In spite of the continuing legal struggle that Brad Pitt is engaged in with his ex-girlfriend Angelina Jolie and her recent allegations of abuse in the past, a source has informed People that he is focusing his attention on moving ahead with his career and his relationship with Ines de Ramon.

“The long-drawn drama with Angelina used to really get to him, especially the custody drama and abuse allegations,” the insider adds of Pitt, 30, who has six children with Jolie, 48: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15. Maddox is 22 years old, Pax is 20 years old, Zahara is 19 years old, and Shiloh is 17 years old.

The insider adds by saying that Pitt has been under a great deal of stress as a result of having to defend himself over and over again. “But since things don’t seem to change, he’s trying to move on with his life.”

In addition to a court struggle over ownership of their French vineyard Chateau Miraval, Pitt and Jolie are engaged in a dispute about custody of their children (despite the fact that they have been deemed single and their divorce from 2016 has not yet been formalized).

On the other hand, Pitt is concentrating on the shooting of his next Formula One (F1) racing movie, which he is now in the process of filming. The insider further claims that he “finally feels happy again” now that de Ramon, who is 34 years old, is “by his side.”

“Although he’s always been surrounded by trusted friends, he still had years when he felt very lonely,” according to the information provided. “The fact that he is currently living with Ines and sharing his life with her make him extremely happy. Ines is an outstanding person. She is able to just provide support for him since she does not bring any baggage with her.

Another group of pals who are close to the Academy Award winner “just want him to be happy,” according to the spokesperson. He is not without his flaws, for sure. He will be the first one to let you know. [However], he will continue to use legal means to fight back.”

As part of the continuing legal dispute between Pitt and Jolie over Chateau Miraval, the actress’s legal team filed a move on April 4 to demand the release of correspondence that they claim would reveal Pitt would not allow Jolie to sell her portion of the vineyard to him unless she agreed to a “more onerous” and “expansive” non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie began well before the family’s September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well,” Jolie’s attorneys said in the latest filing. “This flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well.” After that, Jolie hastily parted ways with him.

Following the investigation conducted by the FBI, Pitt was not issued any charges.

Despite the fact that a representative for Pitt declined to comment, a friend of the actor who is familiar with the litigation over the years stated to People that “this is a pattern of behavior — whenever there is a decision that goes against the other side, they consistently choose to introduce misleading, inaccurate, and/or irrelevant information as a distraction.”

A request was sent to the court on the next day, April 5, by attorneys for Pitt, asking that Jolie show nondisclosure agreements that she had forced other people sign.

Less than six months after Jolie sold her Miraval shares, her attorney proposed an even more expansive mutual non-disparagement clause to Pitt in connection with their divorce proceedings. The attorneys for the Babylon actor are attempting to demonstrate that the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that he requested Jolie to sign was not more restrictive than the ones that she asks other people to sign on a regular basis.

The request that Jolie’s lawyers filed on April 4 revealed that the star was concerned that the confidential records that were a part of their separate custody fight that had lasted for years may be made public without the non-disclosure agreement.
