In 2016, the podcast host, who had previously been married to the country singer, referred to his choice to retire from the sex business as the “best decision I ever made.”
The choice that she made to leave the world of sex work behind a year ago is one that Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, is also contemplating.
On the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the day she quit the sex industry in March 2020, the 44-year-old woman, who had previously worked as an escort and featured on Only Fans, came to Facebook earlier this week to discuss her decision to retire from sex work and concentrate on her company. She also shared her thoughts on the circumstances behind her decision.
A post that was originally published in March 2023 was reshared by Bunnie, who commented, “Awww, a year ago I retired from the SW [sex work] industry.” Because I was unsure of how I would make up for that portion of my company, I was quite apprehensive about letting go of that portion of my life and leaving behind the money that I was earning. On the other hand, I had trust and I let God have it, and he made sure that I got it back ten times over.
“I am so grateful to each and every one of you who have faith in me and have subscribed to my Patreon, purchased merchandise, listened to the podcast, and engaged with me on a regular basis. She continued by saying, “Thank you.”

Meanwhile, the podcast host — who has been married to Jelly Roll since 2016 — went on to release a long follow-up piece, in which she addressed individuals who were “confused” why she waited to retire from the sex business many years after she tied the wedding with the country musician.
“I have always worked & made money on my own, when I married J I refused to give up my independence & rely solely on him,” Bunnie started off. “To tell you the truth, he never not once asked me to do anything. It was clear to him how vital it was for me to be able to generate my own income. On the other hand, he never failed to tell me, “One day, baby, you won’t have to work like this anymore.”
“Fast forward to 2018 I started my own brand Bunnie Xo & funded it w/ the money I made in SW,” she said further. “I literally built my entire brand from the ground up without help from anyone- not even my husband.”
In addition, Bunnie said that she “retired from seeing clients and having sugar daddies” in the year 2020. She also disclosed that she started her OnlyFans account, stating that it “made [her] millions.”
“It was crazy the amount of money that site made me in such a short time,” according to her.
However, by the year 2022, the Dumb Blonde podcast host’s brand was beginning to achieve popularity. She said that it “started making just as much money – if not more than my SW money.”
“I couldn’t justify still having that part of my life when the new brand I created was thriving so much,” she added, and then joked, “I also didn’t want to be the only wife in the country music scene whose butthole was on the internet.”
On the other hand, Bunnie emphasized that Jelly Roll “never once asked me to give up anything in my life.”
“So I decided to retire & 100% immerse myself into the Bunnie Xo brand in 2023,” according to her. It was the best choice I’ve ever made. The rest, I’m afraid, is history!’
