After the passing of her mother, Lauren Duski is in a state of sadness. The runner-up on The Voice made the announcement on her Instagram account on Monday, stating that her mother, Janis Patricia Duski, had passed away on January 5th. 59 was her age.

In a statement to TMZ, the Tuscarora Township Police Department said that Janis was discovered inside a vehicle with a “single gunshot wound to the chest.” A revolver was discovered in the vehicle with “one round spent,” as reported by the station. The publication also said that while the circumstances surrounding Janis’ passing are still being probed, it seems that she took her own life from the inside.

In her tribute, Lauren made a passing reference to the circumstances surrounding her mother’s passing. She said, “I wasn’t planning on sharing this but these last few days I’ve been feeling the most violent pull in my heart to remind you to please talk to one another.”

“If you are having difficulty, you should not feel embarrassed. Have no shame in yourself. Have no shame in yourself. “There is no reason to feel embarrassed about your mental health, and neither is it appropriate to discuss it,” she added. “We are all trying to find our way through this wonderful but chaotic existence. I’ve realized that even the most resilient people reach a point when they can no longer take it.

It is important to be patient and kind to oneself. It is minute by minute. I implore you not to give up hope. Have faith in God. Another opportunity is always available…Lauren said, “In addition, there will never be another person like you.” We are in a position to preserve not just one generation but also those to come. In the post that she made, Lauren referred to her mother as her “best friend and hero.”

“My mom was the greatest human I’ve ever known,” she wrote in 2009. “There was no one who loved more than she did. She gave her whole self, including her heart and soul, to everyone she met, and she never failed to display the mirror in front of you to remind you of how amazing and unique you were. She raised the bar to a level that was beyond the moon.

Regarding her mother, Lauren said, “She cherished her family and her grandchildren beyond measure.” She was a dreamer who never stopped. Amazingly brilliant. In every way, a formidable force. She made it her goal to give dental health treatment to handicapped and homeless Michigan war veterans, and she was a pioneer in the Wolverine Patriot Project, which she started in collaboration with the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

As Lauren said, “We called her ‘Yoda’ because of her boundless wisdom, boundless energy, boundless wit, and boundless humor.” In every respect, she was a selfless person. She did not give up. In 2017, Lauren was a member of Blake Shelton’s team that competed on the twelfth season of The Voice. She came in second place, behind Chris Blue, who was on Team Alicia Keys.
