This year, the retired educator was the first woman to describe her emotions as ‘love’ when asked about them.
On this season of The Golden Bachelor, genuine emotions are beginning to surface. Because it was the first time he’d heard that since his wife Toni passed away in 2017, Gerry Turner broke down into tears during the episode of Bachelor Nation that aired on Thursday night. Gerry made one of the many difficult choices that were to come when he opted to split ways with Kathy and April at the rose ceremony.
“It’s kind of frightening to realize that we’re halfway through this journey, and we’re literally a week away from arriving in our hometowns,” said one of the travelers.
