The child is eight months old and the actress and Darius Jackson are both parents.
Keke Palmer is really smitten with her kid! On Thursday, the actress, who is now 30 years old, uploaded many new images on Instagram of her son, Leodis, who is now 8 months old and whom she shares with her partner, Darius Jackson.
In the images, Leo can be seen sporting a baseball cap, chilling out on a sofa, grinning as he plays, and a few other things. It is obvious that Palmer is overjoyed with the birth of her baby, as she referred to Leo as “the best thing on EARTH” in the description of her Instagram image.
During an interview with ET from a month ago, Palmer discussed how she has adjusted to her new role as a mother.
“Oh my goodness, this is out of control! I mean, I thought I had a difficult work-life balance in the past, but particularly now that I have a kid, it’s different,” Palmer said. “But little Leo comes first.”
In response to the question of what it is that Palmer hopes to pass on to her son, she responded by saying that it is essential that he learn to “use his resources, use his privilege for good.”
“I mean, it pretty much sums up the entire thing, doesn’t it? “As a whole, we continue to develop, and with each passing generation, we work toward the goal of giving our children and the generation that comes after them something better than what we had,” Palmer said. “So he’s definitely gonna have more than what I had growing up.”
“I want him to take that and use it to benefit others,” she said further. “Because I believe it to be the crux of the matter, are you aware of that? Why would we be doing anything else?
Regarding her romantic involvement with Jackson, it is not quite clear what their current relationship status is. ET was informed in August by a source that the couple had broken up after Jackson allegedly made Palmer feel uncomfortable about the clothing she wore to one of her concerts.
However, not long after that, it seemed like Palmer and Jackson were jointly commemorating Palmer’s 30th birthday together. The actress answered to Jenna Bush Hager’s inquiry about whether or not she and Jackson had reconciled their relationship by saying, “I’m going to steal a leaf out of my lady Beyoncé’s book. “Mind your own business, you guys.”
