Both the actress and the former professional athlete first submitted their divorce petitions in the month of August.
Someone fresh is in Sophia Bush’s dating life. A little more than two months after the news of the 41-year-old actress’s divorce from Grant Hughes emerged, a source tells Entertainment Tonight that she is seeing former United States women’s National Soccer Team star Ashlyn Harrison. Harrison played for the United States women’s National Soccer Team.
“Sophia and Ashlyn are dating and are really into each other,” the insider said. “Although it’s new, the two are on the same page and talk about their future together.”
People was the first to break the news of the new couple. ET has attempted to contact Bush’s representative for more information.

After a marriage of 13 months, Bush and Hughes separated in August and Bush filed for divorce. Bush and Hughes were acquaintances for a decade before they began dating one another. They became close during the COVID-19 epidemic, which brought out their shared passion for helping their communities. According to a previous story by ET, they continue to manage their charity organization together and are excellent friends.

“Grant and Sophia are better off as friends and they weren’t getting enough time with each other before their breakup,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “It wasn’t ugly and they are still supporting each other, want each other to be happy, and for their nonprofit to continue to thrive.”
According to People, Harrison, a former professional athlete who had previously said that she would be retiring in November, had filed for divorce from her partner, Ali Krieger, in September. After first meeting in 2010, the couple finally married the wedding in 2019 and are now the proud parents of Sloane, age 2, and Ocean, age 1.
“Although it’s new information to the public,” a source confirmed to the publication, “Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer.”
