A spectacular finish in the Fiji Islands!
At the beginning of the season finale of The Bachelorette on Monday, Charity Lawson was faced with the decision of whether or not to let Aaron back into the competition after he had been ousted during the hometown visits.
“I did not want to say goodbye to this man,” Charity, 27, revealed in an interview that was captured on video. “It was the most difficult task I’ve ever been required to complete.”
Charity inquired about the 29-year-old Aaron’s motivations for coming back.
Aaron told Charity, “I can’t say enough how much I see in both you and our future,” but he couldn’t find the right words. “I still see you as my wife, and I still see you as the mother of my children.”
Charity heard Aaron tell someone else that he had “a lot more that I’ve been wanting to show you.”
Charity was under the impression that she needed to have Aaron around. “My gut is telling me that I owe it to this man to give him time, give himself time, to not give up right now on what we actually have built,” she said in front of the cameras.
Aaron was then informed by Charity’s delivery of the news. She told the software salesman, “I would absolutely love it if you would stay,” before offering that they have supper and hang out in her room instead of remaining in the lobby.
At the start of their date, Charity suggested they raise a glass to “a hard reset.”
After a night of chitchat and passionate kissing, Charity found herself at the end of the evening “reconsidering everything.”
Charity continued by saying, “I knew how much I regretted my decision the last time,” while being interviewed on television.
Aaron surprised Joey and Dotun by gathering the three of them together during the rose ceremony.
The question “What’s going on?” Joey, age 27, addressed the microphones. “Xavier is not here, but Aaron is,” Aaron said.
Charity revealed to them that requesting Aaron to remain after he surprised her in Fiji “was difficult but it was necessary.” She said this because inviting Aaron to stay “was difficult but it was necessary.”
She then moved on to bestow the first rose onto Joey, but she diverted Aaron’s attention first.
Charity told Aaron, “I know I expressed having regrets with last week, and I am so grateful for this time that we had this week to just… I guess get more clarity.” “I know I expressed having regrets with last week.” “As unfortunate as it is, time just wasn’t on our side, and it wasn’t where we needed it to be,” she said.
Therefore, Charity said her goodbyes to Aaron once again.
Aaron said to Charity just before he left, “Charity, know that I will always be on your side.”
In front of the camera, Charity was quoted as saying that the connection she had with Dotun and Joey was stronger than the one she had with Aaron.
She said, “It just truly, honestly wasn’t going to be enough to proceed or surpass where I stood with Joey and Dotun,” and I quote: “It just wasn’t going to be enough.”
Charity made her way back inside to meet Joey and Dotun, and while she was there, she shared the news that she would be continuing her relationship with the two of them.
Aaron said when he was in the studio with Jesse Palmer that he couldn’t avoid fighting for Charity.
Aaron said, “I knew in this intimate setting that you have to put your best foot forward,” and he was correct. “And no, I had no intention of throwing in the towel.”
Jesse, 44, said that Aaron will participate in the search for love once again on the next season 9 premiere of Bachelor in Paradise, which will take place the following month.
Charity’s parents and sister weren’t there when Joey first saw them, but the Bachelorette had already informed the cameras that she needed their assistance in making the difficult choice between him and Dotun.
Charity expressed her inability to settle on a course of action for her future by saying, “I am at a loss for which way to proceed.” “You’re going to have to assist me.”
Joey was concerned that he might upset Charity’s family in some way.
The words “Joey has his unique ability to just truly make me feel so seen, so validated, and truly has swept me off my feet,” were said by Charity to her family.
Mia overheard Joey gushing about Charity to her other sister. “There is no doubt in my mind that I am in love with your sister and that I will be able to protect her and love her and make her feel special every day,” he added. “There is no doubt in my mind that I will be able to protect her and love her and make her feel special every day.”

Dotun started out their conversation with Charity’s family by saying that he felt his connection to Charity was “so strong.”
Dotun went on to say, “I can confidently say that I have never felt this way with anyone else in my entire life.”
As far as Vickie was concerned, Dotun was a “very genuine” and “very honest” person.
“I feel that Dotun checks the boxes,” said Vickie, adding that she felt Dotun looked to be the normal type for Charity. “I feel that Dotun checks the boxes,” she continued.
Mia questioned Dotun about his willingness to give up things for Charity in the event that the two of them were destined to be together.
Dotun said, “I truly believe that she is the kind of person that only comes around once in a lifetime.” “And so, as you may be aware, it would be very heartbreaking for me if I were to be prevented from seeing this through to its conclusion. I interpreted it in that light. Because I don’t know whether I’ll ever find another love quite like this one, it justifies all I have to give up for it.”
Vickie shared with Charity that she believed her sister and Dotun “have a certain chemistry,” but Vickie also believed that Joey had his own positive qualities.
“Joey makes you glow,” Vickie observed to me. “Yes, he is. For example, I could tell if you had greater physical contact with him.
Charity had anticipated that by the end of the day, she would have gained some perspective.
“The day that my family had with Dotun did not go as planned,” she said in an interview that was being filmed. “The unfortunate truth is that I’m not at the point in my decision-making process where I should be, and I still don’t have the level of clarity that I want to have for myself. I’m really not in a good place.
After Dotun had departed, Charity requested assistance from her family in making a choice about what to do next.
Mia told Charity that both Joey and Dotun are excellent people. “Both Joey and Dotun are amazing individuals,” she stated.
“I believe what I admire most about Joey is the fact that he doesn’t shy away from confronting challenging topics. That is of the utmost significance. Dotun, he is very deliberate in his actions. He unquestionably looks out for your welfare and is prepared to make concessions for you in the process. We have complete faith that the final choice will be made by you.”
Vickie continued by saying, “Either one would be a great, great, and great choice.”
Charity persisted in her inquiry to see whether anybody had a preference between the two guys, but Vickie refused to disclose either of their identities. Charity and Vickie had a conversation outdoors, but Charity’s mother still wouldn’t reveal Vickie’s identity.
“For the first time I think in all of this, I’m like truly not okay,” Charity said to the cameras.
THE FINAL OUTING WITH JOEY
Joey and Charity began their last date with a toast of champagne, during which they discussed how successful Joey’s meeting had been with Charity’s family.
Charity shared with Joey that her loved ones “cannot stop raving about you,” and Joey responded by stating that he wished to demonstrate, rather than tell, her family and friends how much he cared for her.
After that, Joey handed her a present in the form of a framed poem that they had both written when they were in New Orleans.
“It’s everything,” Charity exclaimed as she reflected on the gift.
Joey and Charity both said that they were in a positive mental state. “I got everything that I needed,” she said Joey. “Thank you very much.”
Joey had a positive outlook on his relationship with Charity moving forward.
In front of the camera, he gave the following statement: “I’m going to make a proposal to charity.” “In my mind, there is no question about it. And I’m going to be getting engaged in the next few days to a lady who I’m head over heels in love with.”
Charity’s last date with Dotun began with the two of them raising a glass of champagne to one another.
“Cheers to what has been one of the most rewarding journeys of my life,” Dotun remarked as they drank a toast to their accomplishments. “Cheers to the possibility that we have together, and I hope that our story has the happy ending that we both so richly deserve.”
Dotun presented Charity with a gift that consisted of keepsakes from various stages of their trip. These mementos included s’mores, which were a reference to their date in Washington, and a locket with infant images of the two of them, which was shown on their hometown.
Dotun told Charity, “You are my treasure,” but Charity misunderstood him.
Charity disclosed to Dotun that she was facing a difficult choice as a result of the success of her meeting with Joey.
Dotun expressed his anxiety by stating, “There are two strong connections, so I’m nervous, very nervous.” “But of course, the choice is entirely dependent upon you. To reiterate, I have faith in whatever choice you end up making. I do so very much. I only want the best for you and your happiness.
Charity entered the day of the proposal still being in love with two different persons.
However, as Joey exited the vehicle, she addressed the cameras and said, “He deserves so much, but I have to let him go.”
Charity’s future fiancé, Neil Lane, designed the engagement ring that Joey wished to present to her. In front of the camera, Joey gave an interview in which he remarked, “I feel really good about how this is going to be.”
When Joey and Charity finally got face to face, he discussed how much the New Orleans poetry “made us realize how real our feelings were for one another.” He said that the poem “made us realize how real our feelings were for New Orleans.”
“I stand here right now very confident that it hasn’t just been your story, but rather, it’s turned into our very own beautiful love story that we can look back on and be confident in,” Joey concluded. “And I really just can’t wait to see what comes next in this story,” I said.
Charity spoke in glowing terms of her friendship with Joey.
Charity stated, “People search their whole lives looking for something like this, and when I look into your eyes, I am reminded of how you’ve always put me first, and how you’ve been very consistent in the love that you’ve shown, and those things, I’ve never experienced before.” “People search their whole lives looking for something like this,” “I have never in my life questioned or second-guessed the strength of our love. I am aware of its presence, and I can even feel it. But…”
At that very moment, Joey became aware that Charity did not intend to spend the rest of her life with him.
Charity shared with Joey that she had discovered a love that was more profound with another person. “And at this very time, it will not make sense, and it will be difficult. It is difficult for me to say these things to you, Joey, since the reality is that I have fallen in love with you.
Charity offered her apology, but Joey instructed her not to do so. After they had parted ways, Joey described to the cameras how he had imagined spending the rest of their lives together and how desperately he wanted to find love.
“I’m in desperate need of love,” he said. “I think it’s just showing me how desperately I want to be with someone else and get the chance to share life with them because that’s the only thing I can think of at the moment,” she said. I just want to inquire of the cosmos, “When is it going to take place in my life?”
After the breakdown of Charity and Joey’s relationship, Jesse brought them together for the first time in the recording studio. Charity stressed that abandoning Joey was “not an easy decision by any means.”
Joey was told by Charity that “the love will always be there,” “it’s in my heart,” and “I have that at this point for you,”

DAY OF THE PROPOSAL WITH DOTUN
Dotun started his last minutes with Charity on the program by narrating their trip together. Charity was his companion during their time on the show.
Dotun expressed his gratitude to Charity by telling her, “You have the ability to make me feel so incredibly special.”
“Thank you for making me feel loved, validated, and desired in this world. And to get that from a lady of your quality, Charity, I don’t believe you appreciate what it means to me to have someone of your standing say anything like that. Nevertheless, I am positive that the remainder of my life will be spent demonstrating to you.”
Charity said that the time they spent together in Oceanside, California, was the period during which she saw the beginning of the blossoming of their bond.
“We shared that incredibly special moment that changed my life truly forever,” she added. “We had that together.” “When I looked into your eyes at that time, I saw the man who respected me, who valued me, who adored me, but also a man that I can love for all of eternity,” she said.
Dotun, too, had a view of eternity.
He said that the love that the two of us have is flawless. Would you, Ms. Charity Lawson, do me the honor of bringing the fairytale into the real world?
The next thing that happened was that Dotun got down on one knee and asked Charity Lawson, “Ms. Charity Lawson, will you marry me?”
They shared a passionate kiss after she gave him the “yes” answer. Then Charity gave Dotun her last rose, which effectively clinched the deal.
Charity shared with Jesse at After the Final Rose that she and Dotun “are feeling over the moon.”
Dotun added, “Love is just not enough of a word to describe how I feel about her,” and he was right.
Charity was taken aback when Dotun informed her that her ABC adventure would continue this autumn when she participates on the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Jesse had surprised the pair with a vacation to Greece, and Dotun had informed Charity that her journey will continue on ABC.
