A little girl who was born with a large tumor that disfigured the left side of her face recently returned to her home in Montana after undergoing her most recent procedure to remove the tumor. After their daughter Sloan, who was two years old at the time, got the treatment that she so sorely required in New York City, Joe and Jennifer McGillis traveled back to their hometown in Texas. At the time of Sloan’s birth, doctors determined that she had a hemangioma. The noncancerous growth was already having an effect on Sloan’s face nerves and muscles before it had reached its full size.
