Meet Kylo, a rescue dog that is so grateful to have been saved from a shelter that the instant his human mom gets into their house, he simply wants to love and embrace her. Kylo was rescued from a shelter and now he lives with his human mom. In an interview with The Dodo, Kylo’s new owner Meghan Sweers said, “As soon as I sit down to take off my shoes, he crawls onto my lap to be cuddled.” “He will follow me around with the saddest, most pitiful expression on his face until I give in and take him into my arms if I don’t sit down for our cuddling time,” she said.

The new mother of Kylo, Meghan Sweers, said in an interview with The Dodo, “We spotted his photo on Facebook and reached out.” “I believe that he was always intended to be with us; it simply took us a while to find him!”

Because Sweers and her husband already had another dog, a miniature corgi by the name of Nellie, they made the decision to give Kylo a trial night in order to see whether or not he would get along with Nellie. A volunteer with the rescue organization drove Kylo for four hours to the house of his prospective family, and as soon as he walked through the door, they had the feeling that it was meant to be.

Sweers said that as the two people left, the dog “crawled into my lap, nestled his head under my chin, and started snoring like a chainsaw” as soon as they left. “At that moment, both my husband and I realized that he would be living with us from that day forward!”

Kylo fell in love with his new house the moment he moved in; the only thing that bothered him about it were the wooden flooring; however, his family quickly fixed this problem by placing some rugs on the floor in order to help the puppy feel more at peace.

Sweers provided the following explanation, “He navigates the home by jumping from rug to rug.”

Kylo Ren wants nothing more than to be loved. He never passes a single day without smothering his mother with hugs and kisses. There is no question about the fact that he is his mother’s kid. Every every night, you can find him waiting patiently in front of the door for his doting mommy to come home.

Sweers explained, “As soon as I sit down to take off my shoes, he crawls into my lap and demands to be held.” “He will follow me around with the saddest, most pitiful expression on his face until I give in and take him into my arms if I don’t sit down for our cuddling time,” she said.

“After spending time with him, several members of our family who were previously prejudiced about bully breeds have changed their minds,” Sweers noted. “By climbing into their laps and dozing off, he has an uncanny ability to sway people in his favor,” said one observer.
