At just 16 years old, Rafferty Coope stepped onto the *Britain’s Got Talent 2026* stage ready to combine his two biggest passions: music and magic. From the beginning, his confident energy and unusual concept immediately caught the attention of the judges and audience.

Rafferty began demonstrating how closely magic and music could work together. His act featured a series of surprising illusions, including transforming objects and creating unexpected moments involving sound, while keeping the judges involved throughout the performance.

The biggest part of the act came when Rafferty invited KSI to participate in a card trick. KSI selected playing cards, and Rafferty explained that he viewed the cards like musical notes. He then used the selected values to create a melody on the piano.

Suddenly, the seemingly random notes became the famous melody of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.” As Rafferty continued playing, the audience joined in, before another magical reveal showed that the backs of KSI’s selected cards spelled “BELIEVE.”

The performance earned a huge reaction from the theatre, and KSI decided the audition deserved something special. He climbed onto the judges’ desk and hit the Golden Buzzer, sending golden confetti across the stage and giving Rafferty an automatic place in the semi-finals—an unforgettable ending to his magical BGT audition.
