Candace Cameron Bure is excited to embrace a new role in her life — grandmother.

On Thursday, May 7, her daughter Natasha Bure Perry revealed that she and husband Bradley Steven Perry are expecting their first child together. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, the Full House star shared how emotional and grateful she feels about the news, saying she’s “filled with joy” at the thought of becoming a “Candy Gram.”
Bure said becoming a grandmother has long been something she hoped for, adding that seeing Natasha prepare for motherhood feels incredibly special. She explained that this new chapter comes at the perfect time in her life, especially as she prepares to go on tour, and she looks forward to enjoying every moment with her growing family.

She also shared that their family is excited to welcome the baby and believes the child already has loving and caring parents.

Natasha and Bradley announced the pregnancy in a joint Instagram post featuring several photos together. In one image, they wore matching blue-and-white striped shirts while holding mugs labeled “Dada!” and “Mama!” Natasha also revealed her baby bump in the pictures. The couple captioned the post, “Our dream role 🐣.”
The pair married in September during a garden-themed ceremony at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, surrounded by around 150 guests.

Even before their wedding, both Natasha and Bradley openly spoke about wanting to start a family together. Bradley previously said he could already picture Natasha as the future mother of his children, describing her as caring and protective.

Natasha also expressed excitement about building a family with her husband, joking that she looked forward to “little Bradleys” running around and calling their future together an amazing adventure she was eager to begin.
