Police are looking into both the death of Storage Wars personality Darrell Sheets and allegations of online harassment connected to the case.
Sheets, 67, was discovered dead in his Arizona home around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, according to a statement from the Lake Havasu City Police Department. Officials said the death appears to be self-inflicted, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation remains active, and authorities have confirmed they are also reviewing claims of cyberbullying that were recently raised by Sheets’ Storage Wars co-star René Nezhoda in an Instagram post.
“We are aware of these cyberbullying accusations,” Sgt. Kyle Ridgway stated. “They are being considered as part of the ongoing investigation.”
In his video, Nezhoda claimed that someone had been persistently harassing Sheets online in recent weeks. He urged law enforcement to examine the situation closely, emphasizing that people often don’t realize the impact their actions can have on others.

He also clarified that, despite their on-screen rivalry, he and Sheets had maintained a friendly relationship over the years. Nezhoda described him as a dedicated worker and a deeply family-oriented person who cared greatly about his son, granddaughter Zoe, and those close to him.
Sheets became widely known through A&E’s Storage Wars, which debuted in 2010 and followed bidders competing for abandoned storage units. He stepped away from the show in 2023 and later opened an antique store in Arizona called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.

In a statement following his passing, A&E expressed sadness over the loss, remembering Sheets—nicknamed “The Gambler”—as a valued member of the show’s community and offering condolences to his family.

Police have asked anyone with relevant information to contact the Lake Havasu City Police Department.
