The former president and first lady were spotted sitting courtside at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, Feb. 15. Michelle later marked the occasion on social media, sharing a photo of the trio smiling from their seats. “My favorite teammates on and off the court,” she wrote in the caption.
Michelle opted for a black jacket with her hair styled up and soft bangs framing her face, resting her hand on her husband’s knee. Barack kept things casual in a blue jacket layered over a black sweater with gray pants.
Additional photos showed Sasha seated just behind her parents, who were next to basketball icon Julius Erving. Throughout the matchup — which featured Team Stars vs. Team Stripes and a World team — the family appeared engaged, smiling and cheering.
Barack, long known for his passion for basketball, has often shared his NBA predictions and filled out brackets for the NCAA tournament during his presidency.
A standout moment from the star-studded event — also attended by Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Queen Latifah — occurred when a loose ball flew toward the Obamas. Barack smoothly caught it, smiled, then handed it back to Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns after exchanging a few words.
During a televised interview with analyst Reggie Miller on NBC, Barack commented on the level of play during the All-Star festivities. He acknowledged past concerns about effort in the exhibition but noted that this year’s competition showed real intensity, especially with American and international players facing off.
Sasha and her sister, Malia Obama, were also seen together more recently during a Thanksgiving family photo shared on Nov. 27, 2025. In the post, Barack and Michelle stood beside their daughters and encouraged followers to give back during the holiday season. “From our family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!” they wrote.
