Rachel Ward is unfazed by the attacks that are directed against her beauty.
During the Christmas season, the Thorn Birds actress, who is 68 years old, became all over the internet as people commented on her beauty.
Ward and her husband Bryan Brown, who is 78 years old and whom she met on the set of the 1983 miniseries, manage a beef cattle farm in Australia which they own together. She was bombarded with comments from trolls who stated she seemed to be older than her years and questioned why Ward hadn’t taken any steps to make herself appear younger. These remarks were sent to her when she was advertising her farm.
Now, she is sending a message to the trolls while also expressing gratitude to the followers who have come together to support her.
“To those of you who replied to the debate over the trolls who were critical of my looks, I would like to say that I have made an effort to perform a little bit better today. She opened her statement, which was posted on Instagram on January 15th, by saying, “I ran my hands through my hair, etc., but anyway, just to say, do not fear you are getting older.”
It is a lovely time in your life when you are in your sixties. Leaving aside my youth and attractiveness has left me feeling more happy than I ever have before, and I have no regrets about it,” she concluded.
It’s true that I’m not quite young, but I’m a pretty content person. The latter years are to be praised and welcomed with open arms. Wait till you get at your destination. The fact that they have so many more things to give you is something that you will not know about until you arrive at their location.
“Don’t worry about me,” Ward added, adding that she was “overwhelmed” by the number of people who raced to defend her against others who were critical of her. The phrase “let it go” was emphasized by her. “I do recognize that we are all a little bit worried about losing our youth and resorting to rather drastic ways of holding on to it,” she said.
