Chase Chrisley made significant progress toward the future.
The season finale of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality, which aired on Tuesday, September 16, featured the Gold Drop founder, who is 29 years old, checking himself into a rehabilitation center. This was done in response to his continuous battle with alcohol addiction. Chase made the announcement that he was sober earlier this year, and the disclosure occurred after that. His sobriety announcement followed an arrest for suspected simple violence.
As he was traveling on an airplane, Chase said that “there are a lot of emotions.” “I just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried.”
He proceeded by saying that he is “scared” to begin therapy and that he “just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it.” “I just gotta find myself.”
Todd Chrisley, the father of Chase, was there for the whole trip to support him. “New beginnings” was the phrase used by the 57-year-old patriarch of his family when he offered his son some words of encouragement about the choice he was in the process of making.
My life narrative will not include the fact that I spent twenty-eight months behind bars. Todd said, “It is not necessary for your life story to include the fact that I had a problem with alcohol and substance abuse.” “That is not the story of your life.” That is one of the parts. This is a chapter in and of itself.”

While the aircraft was touching down, Chase gave his girlfriend, Jodi Laine Fournerat, a kiss and held her in his arms. Before entering the building, he also embraced his father in an act of affection.
In reference to the addiction problems that Kyle has had in the past, Todd said, “You know, I really thought that going through this with [my eldest son] Kyle Chrisley would be the end of me.” However, it is possible that it was preparation for the challenges that I am now facing. I am departing with the knowledge that I had to take my kid to a rehabilitation center, and I am heartbroken. I am feeling sorry that I am going on a plane and he is not getting on one with me.”
“I have a genuine belief that God has not brought us this far in order to abandon this at this point, despite the fact that we have been through a great deal. I also believe that God will always watch over my son and that God will always keep a healing hand on him.” Todd made the additional comment that “it is because that is what I pray for all of my children every day and every night.”
Some time after Chase left the treatment center, he and his sister Savannah Chrisley spoke with one another via Zoom in order to engage in an honest and open conversation about their relationship. This conversation took place in the midst of the tension that continued to exist between them.
Chase initiated the conversation by expressing his regret to the Unlocked podcast host, who was 28 years old, and admitting that he “definitely could have showed up for you more.”
However, Savannah found it difficult to accept a “blanket I’m sorry,” and she stated her desire for them to genuinely “talk about it so we don’t get to the same place that we’ve been at.”
You are so much more than worthy of my pride. Chase expressed his gratitude for the actions that you took and the responsibility that you bore, saying, “I was a mess, so I am beyond thankful that you took the steps that you did.”
With her eyes welling up with tears, Savannah said. “I am aware of it and I appreciate that. The way that I managed my stress and how I communicated it to others are not something that I am entirely satisfied with. There has been a long-standing tradition of saying, “You’re the strong one; you can deal with it.” I never desired to have to cope with it all on my own.”
Since I am unable to return to the past and make any changes, all I can do is be there for you both at this time and in the future. However, I really apologize, Savannah. Chase said, “I love you.”
Chase reacted by saying, “You are aware that I feel the same way.” Savannah offered her reply, which was, “I adore you, and I am available to you should you ever require my assistance.” As a result, this is perhaps the beginning of a new chapter in my life.”
I am proud of you for taking the necessary measures to get to where you are now. “I am proud of you,” Savannah said in conclusion, “because you have always possessed so much potential, provided that you allow yourself to fall into it and work for it.”
Chase made a comment at the conclusion of the show, saying that he had “learned not to take anything for granted.”
“I’ve learned that time is the only thing that money can’t buy back, so I’m not going to waste it arguing over small, petty things that don’t really matter at the end of the day,” he said in conclusion. “And, that family’s really all you got.”
