A gunshot has resulted in the death of Corey Adams, who was a defensive lineman for the Ole Miss football team. According to sources, Adams was murdered in the incident.

A gunshot that took place in Cordova, Tennessee, which is located in the greater Memphis region, resulted in the death of Adams, according to ESPN, which cited the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

According to ESPN, four more guys were also shot, although both of them were taken to the hospital in an emergency situation and are not currently in serious condition. During that time period, there was no one who had been apprehended in connection with the incident.

Ole Miss issued a statement announcing Adams’ passing, in which they expressed their condolences and prayers to his family and friends, and extended an invitation to all members of the campus community to remember Adams in their thoughts and prayers.

During his tenure at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, Adams was recognized as an all-state high school athlete on two separate occasions. This past winter, Adams made the decision to enroll at Ole Miss.

It was obvious that Corey was looking forward to the new season since he posted pictures of himself at practice on Instagram throughout the month of April.
