He had long, flowing hair that went over his shoulders for as long as anybody could remember. His hair was long and flowing. People often confused him for a female, whether they were at school, in public, or even while they were out with his family. The phrase “She is so cute” was often followed by uncomfortable corrections. This was not an unusual occurrence.
He never seemed to mind excessively. Because he had grown up with his hair, it became an integral part of who he was. On the other hand, as he became older, the remarks started to have a different feel. He became aware of the fact that individuals glanced twice, perplexed by the difference between what they saw and what they anticipated seeing.
Soon after, he took a courageous choice: he decided that it was time for a change. He went into the barbershop with a calm and determined demeanor, and when he left, he seemed to have transformed into an entirely new person.
He had a clean and fresh haircut that finally matched how he felt on the inside. The long hair had been removed and replaced with a new one.
The people were taken aback. At first, there were many who didn’t even recognize him. To his surprise, however, he was not required to provide an explanation for himself. His identity was now reflected in his looks, and as a result, he finally had a level of self-assurance that he had not experienced before.
The issue was not only about his hair; rather, it was about being recognized for who he really was.
As soon as he got a haircut, the whole world began to see him differently.
