One of the British actors, who is just 15 years old, has been nominated for the award for best supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or television movie. Cooper will become the youngest guy to ever win an Emmy for acting if he is successful in his bid.
The adolescent will fight against his co-star Ashley Walters from the highly acclaimed Netflix program, while Christine Tremarco and Erin Doherty, two actresses from the series, will compete in the corresponding supporting actress category. The show is now streaming on Netflix.
Stephen Graham, who plays the major role in the program, is being considered for the award for best actor. Additionally, the four-part series that tells the story of a thirteen-year-old boy who is accused of killing a girl from his class is being considered for the award for finest limited series. Together with Graham, Jack Thorne is the creator of the drama, and he has been nominated for a trophy for best writing.
The workplace satire Severance has received 27 nominations, which puts it in first position. The Batman spin-off The Penguin has received 24 nominations, while the dark comedy drama The White Lotus has received 23 nominations. Adolescence has received a respectable 13 nominations.
Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, and Aimee Lou Wood, all of whom are stars of The White Lotus, are competing against one another for the award best supporting actress in a drama series.
