Vivian Jenna Wilson, Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, made another social media remark directed at her renowned father on Friday.
As Musk persists in his public spat with President Donald Trump, which started after the Tesla CEO’s exit from his White House position on May 30, Wilson, 21, seems to allude to the conflict with two incisive postings on her Instagram Story.
Initially, Wilson states, “I do not wish to comment,” before erupting in laughter. She titled the tape “I relish being validated.”
The second included a snapshot of a Threads post by Wilson, stating, “Such beauty in life.” The article features the song “Job Application” by Chase Icon.
Wilson and her twin brother, Griffin, are the oldest offspring of Musk. They were born on April 15, 2004, to the technology magnate and his former spouse, Canadian novelist Justine Musk.
The self-proclaimed “Queen of Threads” has been alienated from her father since 2020. Upon reaching the age of 18, she filed a petition to officially alter her name, since she no longer desired any association with her biological father in any capacity.
Musk resigned from his position as the director of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) on May 30 and has since been engaged in a public spat with the president.
The primary source of disagreement for the software mogul is Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which he argues would negate whatever financial savings he and DOGE contributed to the administration.
“I apologize, but I can no longer tolerate it,” Musk tweeted on X on June 3. This extensive, excessive, pork-laden Congressional spending measure is a reprehensible travesty. Those who voted for it should feel ashamed; you are aware of your wrongdoing. You are aware of it.
The erstwhile allies have persistently exchanged criticisms throughout the week. Musk said that Trump is mentioned in the notorious Jeffrey Epstein papers, contending that this is the reason they have not been made public as previously promised. Trump threatened to terminate Musk’s government subsidies and contracts. The CEO of SpaceX agreed with an X user advocating for Trump’s impeachment, while Trump associate Steve Bannon demanded Musk’s deportation.
The conflict has gained widespread attention, with lawmakers, commentators, and social media users ridiculing the dispute between the erstwhile partners. On June 5, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez humorously said to Spectrum 1 News, “Oh man, the girls are fighting, aren’t they?”
Ocasio-Cortez said that the culmination of events up to this moment was anticipated, since the coexistence of these two prominent personalities as friends was unlikely to last. This separation has been anticipated for quite some time. However, we will assess the legislative effects of it.
