It has been revealed that Gracie McGraw, who is the daughter of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, is a lesbian.

During the month of Pride, Gracie posted a jubilant message on her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 2. The post stated, “Everyone get more gay now,” and it included a number of exclamation marks.

“Happy Freaking Pride,” Gracie, who is 28 years old, wrote at the post’s bottom. “I love being queer.”

throughout a subsequent tweet, Gracie published a graphic that read, “Pride began as a riot led by Black and Brown trans activists.” This statement was repeated again throughout the picture.

Gracie has never before discussed her sexuality in public, and this piece is the first time she has done so. Hill, who is 57 years old, has openly supported the LGBTQ+ community on several times, notably when Chely Wright came out as a lesbian in 2010. Her parents had no remark on the news, but Hill has shown her support on other occasions.

McGraw, who is 58 years old, celebrated Gracie’s birthday in May by posting a flashback picture on Instagram from the past.

“I can’t believe that this darling is turning 28 years old today! May our Gracie have a wonderful birthday! My dearest child, you are a beacon of hope in this dark world. There is an incredible amount of skill, as well as heart, soul, and respect!!! We wish you the most wonderful day of your life and want you to know that you are loved beyond all comprehension. “Dad, I want you to know that I adore you, this little girl.”

This past April, Gracie made her debut at Carnegie Hall in the production of The Great War and The Great Gatsby. In the crowd on the very first night of the event, her parents were there to offer their support for her.

McGraw and Hill have three children, Maggie, who is 26 years old, Audrey, who is 23 years old, and Gracie, who is the oldest of the three.

When speaking to PEOPLE in the year 2020, the singer who is well known for her hit “I Like It, I Love It” enthused over Gracie’s abilities. “Gracie, our oldest daughter, is an actress in L.A., and she makes me proud every day because she’s such a strong, independent young lady who speaks her mind,” McGraw said in an interview.

“And she makes me proud every day of the way she lives her life,” he said in conclusion.
