The death has occurred of Denise Alexander, who was most known for her role as Lesley Webber on the television show “General Hospital” for many years.
Frank Valentini, the executive producer of “General Hospital,” made the announcement of her passing on Friday. He recalled her as someone who “broke barriers on-screen and off.”
He concluded by saying… “It meant so much to have her reprise her role in recent years and I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with her.”
After returning for the soap opera’s anniversary events in 2013 and 2019, Denise made her last appearance on the long-running soap opera in the year 2021.

In addition to her legendary time on “General Hospital,” Denise also made appearances on “Days of Our Lives” between the years 1966 and 1973 during her career.
Denise was a natural-born actor, having made her debut in the entertainment industry when she was only six years old. Her skill, however, did not just push her in front of the camera; she also worked in radio and was an exceptional photographer in addition to her achievements in the field of photography.
In addition to being a scholar, she received her degree from UCLA with a concentration in English and a minor in art. After that, she focused on obtaining her post-graduate degree while also gaining experience in the real estate industry.
Prior to the authors Ted Corday and Betty Corday of “Days of Our Lives” coming knocking on her door with a job for the second time, the actress took a short break from the entertainment industry while she was attending college.

In 1971, she revealed to the Schenectady Gazette that she is “thankful” that she really accepted the offer.
Until his passing in 2021, Denise was married to Richard A. Colla, a director and producer with whom she often worked. Both of them worked together. Their daughter, Elizabeth, was a shared child.
