The lead vocalist of 3 Doors Down, Brad Arnold, has reported that he has been diagnosed with cancer. He made the announcement in an emotional message on social media.

One of the numerous admirers of the band was informed by the musician that he had been diagnosed with clear cell renal carcinoma, which is a kind of kidney cancer. After after, Arnold reveals that the disease has spread to his lungs, as indicated by the stage 4 diagnosis.

Brad asserts that he is making an effort to maintain a good attitude and that he is giving all the praise to God. He also mentions that his faith indicates that he is not in the least bit afraid.

Having stated that, Arnold has informed the fans that the 3 Doors Down tour that was scheduled to take place this summer will not be taking place. He also extends his apologies to all of the supporters who were eager to cheer them on.

As BA concludes the message, he declares that he is going to use the band’s song “It’s Not My Time” as his own personal anthem while he is battling the sickness.

Arnold cofounded 3 Doors Down in 1996 when he was just a teenager. While he was still in high school, he penned “Kryptonite,” which is widely considered to be the band’s most successful song.

The debut album by 3 Doors Down, titled “The Better Life,” was certified seven times platinum, and the band’s subsequent three albums all achieved platinum status as well.

Brad is the sole member of the band who has been with the band when it was first founded, making him the member with the longest tenure of the group.
