During the Met Gala, Timothée Chalamet had a really good excuse to let Kylie Jenner go solo: his NBA team was playing a crucial playoff game, and he wanted to watch it on television!!!
On Monday, the actor, who is a huge fan of the New York Knicks, was nowhere to be seen at the Met Gala in New York City. Instead, he was watching the Knicks play the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of their series on television.
It is possible that Timothée made the correct decision in this situation… the New York Knicks triumphed in a spectacular manner, charging back from a 20-point hole to stun the reigning champion Celtics in overtime, 108-105, and seize home court advantage in the best-of-seven series.
“S****ing myself this game is insane” and “shaking” were two of the things that Timothée tweeted on his social media accounts. The game was frantic, and so were his anxieties. “What a triumph!”

Last week, Timothée and Kylie were seen making out courtside at a Lakers playoff game in Los Angeles. The Lakers ended up losing that game, so maybe it was a good thing that Timothée was cheering from the sofa when the Knicks were playing in Boston.
Kylie, on the other hand, would not skip the Met Gala in order to attend an NBA game, and she looked absolutely lovely as she always does.
