For the time being, “Floribama Shore” star Kirk Medas is confined to a hospital bed in the critical care unit, and he is dependent on a machine to breathe for him.
Nilsa Prowant, who appeared with Kirk on the MTV program that was canceled, has just sent her an update on her close friend Kirk’s health, and it does not sound good.
According to Nilsa, Kirk is now being treated for necrotizing pancreatitis in the intensive care unit (ICU). He has been there for about two weeks, and he is currently under sedation and breathing via a ventilator.
According to Nilsa, the family is using crowdsourcing to assist in paying Kirk’s increasing medical expenditures. It seems that Kirk did not have health insurance, and she believes that all of the money that is gathered will be used to pay for Kirk’s medical bills as well as his rehabilitation.
She claims that she traveled to Miami to see Kirk in the intensive care unit, and that it was a very upsetting experience for her to watch him on a ventilator.
The members of Kirk’s family and friends are hoping for his complete recovery, according to Nilsa, but it seems like he has a long road ahead of him already.
