It is said that the mother confirmed what they had done and “laughed about it” when she was challenged by the biological father of the children. According to the police, it “appeared that the flesh was removed from the body,” after the children had been tied down with rope, blinded, and gagged.

After being accused of tattooing two toddlers against their will and removing their skin in the process, a lady from Texas and her husband have both entered guilty pleas to the charges against them.

In accordance with KTRE, Megan Farr, who is 29 years old, entered a guilty plea on Thursday for the charges of illegal restraint and four counts of harm to a child with deliberate bodily injury.

It is said that her husband, Gunnar Farr, who is 25 years old, was sentenced to two years for a restraint charge and five years for each of the four bodily harm counts, to be served consecutively, after pleading guilty on March 19. Her court appearance comes after her husband’s sentence was handed down.

A sentence will be handed down to Megan at a later time.

The Farrs were taken into custody on April 24, 2023, as a result of investigations conducted by both Child Protective Services and the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office.

As stated in their arrest affidavit, which was obtained from a prior KTRE article, the two individuals used rope to prevent Megan’s children, who were 9 and 5 years old at the time of the incident, from escaping. The children refer to Gunnar as their stepfather.

This was followed by the adults reportedly covering the children’s eyes with a towel and covering their mouths with tape before giving them tattoos. It has been reported that one youngster was given a tattoo on their foot, while the other child was given a tattoo on their shoulder.

The residence was purportedly occupied by the couple’s friends at the time of the incident.

After the children’s biological father saw them and inquired about the tattoos, the two are also accused of subsequently trying to cover up or erase the ink by cutting, scraping, and cleaning the area with lemon juice. This happens after the ink was discovered by the biological father.

It is said in the affidavit that she acknowledged to her former partner what she had done to her before she “laughed about it and drove away.” Gunnar, on the other hand, is said to have informed the father of the children that the tattoos were created with a staple. CPS was then notified of the issue by the father.

According to the Interim Chief James Denby of the Zavalla Police Department, who spoke to KTRE at the time, “It appeared that the flesh was removed from the body at the location of the tattoo.”

Denby went on to say that at a later time, a person “turned in a tattoo kit that she claimed was loaned to Gunnar to perform tattoos.” As reported by the police, the lady said that she was unaware that they would use it on a youngster.
