The death of their 9-month-old daughter has left influencer Lauren Cummings Johnson and her husband Wilson Johnson in despair.
In a joint Instagram post on April 7, Lauren and Wilson revealed that their baby, Lily Ann, had passed away the day before.
The pair captioned the photo, saying, “She was exactly 9 months old, 9 months our beautiful miracle, 9 months of love, joy, and sunshine in our home and hearts.” “The promise of Heaven and our hope in our Heavenly Father are things for which we are immensely thankful.”
“Even when we don’t understand it, his ways are superior to ours,” they went on. “For the past nine months, he has blessed us every day, and we will never be the same.”
Then, as Lily Ann’s parents, Lauren and Wilson called it “the honor of our lifetime.” Additionally, they expressed gratitude to their fans for their unwavering prayers for their child since her birth on July 6, 2024.
The pair went on to say that every day they spent with their baby was a “blessing” since she “was pure joy and sunshine.”
Lauren and Wilson stated, “That is what we are in for, nothing less,” as their post ended, quoting pastor Tim Keller on life’s ups and downs.
The pair shared a number of family photos with their touching caption, such as one of the parents kissing Lily Ann’s head and another of the toddler putting her fingers on Wilson’s lips.
CeCe Winans’ song “Come Jesus Come” served as the background music for the post.

Following Lily Ann’s passing, Lauren remarked in a post on her Instagram Stories that she’s finding it “so hard” to interact with her fans since her daughter “loved” joining her in postings.
After their baby was born, the influencer said, she and Wilson were “fully prepared” that they would only have a few weeks or a month together.
Lauren went on to record every moment leading up to Lily Ann’s birth after declaring her pregnancy in January 2024.
In an Instagram post at the time, Lauren disclosed that Lily Ann had been “admitted to the pediatric ICU 8 hours after discharge from the hospital” following her birth. Later, in a post elaborating on her condition, she called her baby daughter a “miracle.”
She posted a picture of her kid with the caption, “Lily Ann was born with a condition where she cannot break down protein.” “She is lacking a vital urea cycle enzyme.”
The message went on to say, “Lily Ann had her first nasogastric (NG) tube because she was hospitalized during her first month of life.” “She needed to consume a certain number of calories in order to prevent her body from breaking down her own muscles in order to obtain protein.”
“It made it possible for food and medicine to be delivered right away,” Lauren said. She was still unable to swallow bottles after months of feeding treatment, so in December they proceeded with a G-tube operation.
Lauren posted fresh images of Lily Ann on Instagram earlier this month, along with an update on the surgery’s results.
“We are completely enamored and devoted to our angel girl 🤍!” She wrote. “And for those who recall my anxiety over her YouTube channel, it’s been incredible and has saved our lives!
Lily Ann’s funeral has been set for Monday, April 14, in a Nashville, Tennessee, church, according to Lauren’s Instagram Stories post.
According to an obituary, the family has asked that contributions be directed to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Alive Hospice, two institutions that assisted Lily Ann and her parents.
