According to TMZ, rapper Young Scooter, who collaborated with artists like Future and Gucci Mane, passed away today on his birthday.

According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, the hip-hop artist (real name: Kenneth Edward Bailey) was taken to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services from a place on the city’s southeast side and was declared de.ad at Grady Marcus Trauma Center in Atlanta on Friday.

The cause and manner of loss of Young Scooter are still being investigated, according to the ME. To find out how he passed away, an autopsy will be conducted.

In 2012, Scooter signed with Future’s record company, Freebandz, which gave him his first major break as a rapper. He released two mixtapes in 2013: “Free Bricks 2,” which he co-produced with Gucci Mane, and another one that included features by Future, YG, Lil Boosie, and Gucci.
