I don’t think anybody anticipated that. He’s amazing!

Yesterday, when travelers paused at Manchester Airport for a quick coffee before their flights, they had no clue that they would be serenaded by a real child prodigy, but that is exactly what happened. After seeing a grand piano outside Broderick’s Coffee Shop in Terminal 2, 11-year-old Harrison couldn’t help but plop down on the bench and start playing.

At first, nobody thought about it.

They watched as the little boy took a seat at the piano, but they gave him little attention. Until he started playing, that is.

Everyone turned to watch Harrison as his little fingertips touched the keyboard.

One would anticipate a sweet rendition of “Hot Cross Buns” or even a somewhat more sophisticated rendition of “Für Elise” for a youngster of his age, but Harrison had a different plan for the audience.

He chose to play the renowned Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi’s “Nuvole Bianche.” The simple beginning piano songs that the majority of 11-year-olds are exploring with are quite different from this. Einaudi, who attended Milan’s Conservatorio Verdi, is among the most well-known classical composers of today.

Harrison’s impassioned performance of the Einaudi song, however, was as amazing as any we’ve ever heard.

To reach that level of brilliance, most people must dedicate themselves for the rest of their lives. Harrison, however, is a natural. He didn’t even open the sheet music books in front of him throughout the performance. His memories and natural musical sense were his only sources of support.

No one could believe what they were witnessing, and everyone in the coffee shop took notice right away.

Numerous others looked over numerous times throughout the song, as if to check themselves, and several young men of the same age rose up, their arms folded in shock.

Wow is the only word that comes to mind. The stunned crowd erupted in thunderous ovation as Harrison came to a close.

An 11-year-old doing such a high-caliber act in the middle of an airport is uncommon. The incident’s YouTube video, however, shows that it did happen. Harrison’s amusing performances, like this one that has received almost eight million views, are featured on his own channel!

The kid prodigy has a bright future in the music business, no question about that.

We can only image how much better a few more years of practice will be given the level of attention he is presently getting at the age of eleven. It wouldn’t surprise us if he soon began penning his own songs.

We’re excited to see what Harrison’s future contains since he’s now one of the best young pianists in the world. He seems like any other child his age at first glance, but when you give him a piano and a stool to sit on, the result is breathtaking. He must be incredibly proud of his parents!
