It has been reported that Amy Schumer is having “a really good experience” while using a new medication for weight reduction.

The actress and comedian, who is 43 years old, said that she wanted to “keep it a hundred” with her followers on her battle to lose weight in a video that she posted on Instagram. The video was taken from the driver’s seat of her vehicles. It was revealed by the star of Life & Beth that she had previously attempted to lose weight using Wegovy three years ago, but she encountered unpleasant symptoms throughout her weight loss journey.

I felt like throwing up because I couldn’t take it anymore. I have no idea whether they have altered the recipe or anything else,” she remembered to herself.

The comedian went on to say that after that encounter, she made an appointment with a telemedicine provider and was given a prescription for two hormones, estrogen and progesterone, to treat the symptoms of her perimenopause. In addition, she said that she started using Mounjaro, a GLP-1 medication that is indicated for type 2 diabetes and is also often used for weight reduction.

According to Schumer, the combination of all of her new meds has resulted in favorable outcomes. My symptoms that were associated with being in the perimenopause have vanished. My skin is healthier, my hair is fuller, and I have more energy than I had before. The actress of Kinda Pregnant remarked, “I want to ‘get down’ more, if you know what I mean,” as she was driving. She soon clarified her statement by saying, “I’m talking about sex.”

“Well, that’s been a wonderful experience. Schumer proceeded by saying, “Mounjaro has been wonderful.” Mounjaro is normally not covered by insurance with the exception of those who have been diagnosed with diabetes or, as she quipped, “severe obesity, which most of the Internet thinks I have.” She made this observation for the benefit of her admirers.

“But I’m having a really good experience, so I wanted to keep it real with you about that,” she said in response.

A shout-out was also given by Schumer to Midi Health, which was the provider of the drugs that she was administered.

“I liked it so much, and it was such a good experience that I invested in the company,” she said in the video that she shared with the audience. Some of the other celebrities who have invested in the virtual care clinic for women include Connie Britton, Tory Burch, Brandi Chastain, and Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, which is a venture capital firm that is managed by Sheryl Sandberg, who was the previous CEO of Meta, and her husband, according to Fortune.

During the course of her discussion on her experience climbing Mount Mounjaro, Schumer made a joke about the fact that she would never transform her lips.

Looking into her rearview mirror, the celebrity made the following statement: “I want to make a commitment to you that I will never get lip fillers, so you can always enjoy the fact that I do not have a top lip.”
