Although we are all familiar with the saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” there are times when even the judges on reality shows need a reminder, and Panda Ross demonstrated this on The X-Factor to make the point.
In the beginning, the judges were skeptical about Panda since she was from New Mexico. Simon, in particular, was skeptical because he questioned the origin of her distinctive moniker. In spite of the fact that she had just recently recovered from pneumonia, Panda was eager to leave an impact that would stay.
Every everyone in the room was enthralled by her voice as soon as she started singing because it was so full of force and unfiltered feeling. She did more than simply perform; she established herself as the leader of the stage, garnering respect from even the most critical of the judges.
Her performance was so impressive that the judges couldn’t help but have nothing but praise for her. L.A. acknowledged, “I am unable to deny how wonderful that was… Panda, you sound like a legend,” Simon, who is often difficult to impress, remarked to Panda. “You moved this room,” he complimented.
