As soon as she starts playing the piano, it is obvious that music is deeply ingrained in her. At the age of nine, she had already established herself as a talented pianist, having won a number of awards and performing on stages with renowned orchestras.

Klára Gibišová has shown her talent in a number of famous places, one of which is the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, where she gave a fantastic performance. Despite the fact that the applause from the audience is satisfying, she often waits for the comments from her instructor to determine whether or not her performance was satisfactory.

“I wait to hear from my teacher if it was good because there are times when I can’t quite tell,” adds Klára.

When she was just three years old, she learned to play the piano for the first time, picking out pieces by ear rather than reading the notes. She reminisces, “I remember playing ‘The Cat Climbing Through the Hole’ with just one finger,” and she describes the experience.

Even though she required assistance merely to reach the piano bench, she was already playing in concerts by the time she was five. As a result of her enthusiastic playing, her listeners were completely enthralled.

Approximately when she was seven years old, Klára started her official tuition on the piano. Initially, she learned pieces by listening to recordings of her classes. “In the past, we would videotape the sessions so that I could practice wherever I was. My first attempt at reading music was just a short while ago,” she details.

She keeps her motivation by taking pleasure in learning new pieces. Although my instructor chooses the pieces the majority of the time, she does sometimes provide me with a selection of selections to choose from. The ones that are the quickest are my favorites,” she adds.

This young pianist is very extraordinary, and his performance of Haydn’s last movement from the Piano Concerto in D Major is quite astounding.
