A lady was crossing the street when she was struck by a delivery driver from Amazon, who then sped off, leaving her laying on the ground. The incident was captured on film.
An event that was quite terrifying took place on Tuesday evening in a suburb of Baltimore. According to the police, the lady, who was 29 years old at the time, was crossing the street. The footage shows the Amazon truck driving ahead as a green signal comes.
She gives out a frightening wail as the Amazon driver slowly drives on top of her, pulling her along as the van proceeds. This occurs when the lady is being hit by the van.
The situation is made much more difficult by the fact that the driver temporarily pauses after running her over with the front wheels of the van, only to double-over her with the rear wheels of the van.
As the lady continues to scream out in anguish, the Amazon driver eventually exits the van and walks away from the situation. In a shocking turn of events, the driver gets back into the van and drives off after quickly checking the severity of her injuries.
As the lady in need sits lifeless on the street, thankfully, several good Samaritans come to her aid and help keep her alive.
When the lady arrived at the hospital, her injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.
An Amazon spokeswoman told TMZ that the driver in issue has been suspended from delivering packages on the company’s behalf because of the horrific occurrence that occurred. “This is a terrible incident,” the official said. As the investigation is being conducted, we are collaborating with his employer and law police.
