In style, Cher took down the house!

The 78-year-old music icon sang her beloved song “If I Could Turn Back Time” on Friday, February 14 at “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. She donned an outfit that was evocative of some of her most famous and daring designs for the event: a black leather jacket, thigh-high boots, and a transparent black bodysuit embellished with sequins.

Cher, who often works with fashion designer Bob Mackie, has a history of wearing transparent, all-black clothing.

According to Newsweek, she got “the crowd to its feet” during the event. A video of her performance was posted on the official SNL Instagram account, and it has Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell, and Kevin Costner all grooving out to the song.

Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, The Backstreet Boys, and others performed at the star-studded event. Andy Samberg, who is a favorite in musical comedies, performed a mashup of The Lonely Island’s best songs from the long-running sketch series, such as “Lazy Sunday” and “D— in a Box.”

The performance is a prelude to Sunday, February 16th, when SNL’s 50th Anniversary Special will broadcast. Many of the most adored and recognizable characters from the show will probably be included in the three-hour nostalgia feast, which will highlight both new and old cast members.

It is anticipated that some cast members from SNL’s inaugural 1975 season would appear. Adam Sandler, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Kristen Wiig, Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson, and more alumni will also be joining them, according to NBC News.
