The song, which was titled “50 Years,” made light of the ups and downs of Saturday Night Live while also paying gratitude to the program’s cast and the contributions that the show has made to popular culture.
“Everybody in this room has something in common/ all of our lives were changed by the show / Everybody in this room has something else in common / None of us were allowed to use the little bathroom in Lorne [Michael]’s office,” he started talking about.

During the festivities of Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary, Sandler made an appearance on Friday, February 14, at the musical event that was held for the program, which was called SNL50: The Homecoming Concert. On stage with him were others who had previously been on Saturday Night Live, in addition to a number of other famous people.
Prior to that, he walked the red carpet with his wife Jackie Sandler, who is fifty years old, and the two of them put on a show of affection by offering one other a passionate kiss.
