Sheryl Crow is pawning off her Tesla, which she co-founded with Elon Musk, despite the fact that the first cut may be the deepest.
As she waved Sayonara to her Tesla in an Instagram video, the singer captioned the photo, “My parents always said… you are who you hang with.”
“There comes a time when you have to choose who you are willing to align with,” Crow said. Goodbye, Tesla.
Five years ago, Crow retweeted Elon when he provided her a solution to an issue she had expressed on social media about her Tesla screen turning blank. This is a sharp contrast to that time.
There are more musicians that support abandoning the Donald Trumpian, including Sheryl. Both artist Margo Price and Kacey Musgraves reacted with encouraging remarks, with Price adding, “Love to see it.”
“Money donated to @npr, which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth,” Crow’s statement said.
