A Philadelphia area was the target of the catastrophe that claimed the lives of six passengers on board a medical airplane.

According to NBC network WCAU and CBS affiliate KYW-TV, Jet Rescue Air Ambulance has named the four crew members on the trip that occurred on Friday, Jan. 31 as Capt. Alan Alejandro Montoya Perales, co-pilot Josue de Jesus Juarez Juarez, Dr. Raul Meza Arredondo, and paramedic Rodrigo Lopez Padilla.

The Mexican publication Milenio said that Montoya was the pilot and Juárez the co-pilot, citing the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The translated post on X by XE Médica Ambulancia said that doctor Meza was offering his “professional services” aboard the aircraft when it crashed.

Valentina Guzman Murillo and her mother, Lizeth Murillo Ozuna, were among the other two passengers that perished on board.

In a Facebook post made on Sunday, Feb. 2, Susan Marie Fasino said that she assisted in obtaining treatment for “a pressure sore that she had from her Spina bífida condition” for the mother and daughter.

“The plan was to bring them home to live out the rest of her life surrounded with love and with her adoring family,” according to her. One of the most loving and caring moms a kid could ask for was her mother. She remained at her side the whole time.

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance spokeswoman Shai Gold told WCAU that Valentina had previously been treated at Shriners Children’s Philadelphia and was on her way home when the tragedy happened.

“Our deepest sympathies are with the families of the pilots and medical staff who tragically lost their lives in this incident – along with everyone else impacted by the ground victims – and we express our gratitude to the first responders for their prompt actions,” the hospital said.

When PEOPLE reached out to Jet Rescue Air Ambulance for comment, they did not answer right away.

A translated post on X from Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Mexican embassy has been in touch with the “families of the people” affected by the disaster.

According to the organization, they have been working along with Pennsylvania authorities and ground teams as well as “other institutions involved in the research efforts.”

A seventh victim, whose identity has not been released, was in the vehicle when the accident happened and passed, according to KYW-TV, which was reported by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker on Saturday, Feb. 1.

The accident, according to Parker, wounded 22 more persons, five of whom were sent to the hospital. She went on to say that three of the patients in the hospital are in a severe condition.
