The life that Nicole Kidman leads today may seem to be picture-perfect, but the actress has not always had it so easy. Her first significant part in an acting production was in an Australian drama called “Vietnam.” Two years later, she appeared in “Dead Calm” and garnered the attention of a wide variety of individuals, including Tom Cruise. At the age of 23, Kidman wed the well-known actor, who had just been through his first divorce with Mimi Rogers, and she became well-known in the public eye as Mrs. Tom Cruise. This marked the beginning of Kidman’s career in the entertainment industry.
The actress’s lifelong goal was to become a mother, so she was utterly heartbroken when she discovered that she had an ectopic pregnancy shortly after getting married. She discovered that she was unable to have children after suffering a miscarriage at the end of her marriage to the actor, who she had married earlier.
Despite this, Kidman did not end her marriage to Tom, which she considered to be the ideal arrangement. Kidman was left in shambles. In 2001, the pair decided to end their marriage, and the actress carried her anguish until she found Keith Urban, whom she later married. She never stopped crediting him for helping her get well.
On June 25, 2023, Kidman celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary with Urban, who she credits as being her savior during the arduous process of being divorced from Tom. The affection with which the Australian actress has talked about her relationship with her spouse is a clear indication of the two people’s devotion to one another as a couple.

In spite of this, she immersed herself in her job and maintained a high level of critical praise for the exceptional performances she delivered. Around this time, Kidman made an appearance in “The Hours” as the depressed Virginia Woolf. For her outstanding performance, she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama from the Golden Globe Awards. Kidman felt as if she was lacking something despite all of her accomplishments.
“I came to the conclusion that I did not want to be alone myself. She shared with DUJOUR her sentiments, “I wanted to fall in love again, but I wasn’t sure I could.”
At a gathering of Australians in 2005 in Los Angeles, she came face to face with the artist Urban and was immediately enamored with him. On the other hand, it took some time before the vocalist got in touch with us. In June of 2006, Kidman and Urban hitched the knot, and shortly after their wedding, the actress was given a tremendous surprise.
She was expecting their first child at the age of 40 when she found out she was pregnant, and they welcomed their daughter, Sunday Rose, in July of 2008.

Kidman has expressed a warm and positive sentiment on the beginning of her relationship with Urban. During an interview with Vanity Fair, she provided the following response about the matter:
“We kept an extremely low profile about it, and as a result, we were able to go unnoticed for a considerable amount of time, which is pretty much how we operate to this day,” they said.
Before the pair made their first public appearance together at the 2006 Grammy Awards, they had already gotten engaged, something many people were unaware of at the time. She also waited for Urban to make the proposal before she brought him to see Bella and Connor, her adopted children from a previous relationship with Tom.
“Being in a relationship with someone who is going through the recovery process has taught me a tremendous lot. I’m more than happy to go through it with him if that’s what he wants. In a further statement to Vanity Fair, she explained that the two of them are “very committed to our relationship.” “We were at a position that was very, very, very unpleasant and painful, and we have managed to go through it…And with that, I’ll say no more. Everything else would be an unneeded indulgence at this point in time. And I believe that it in some way brings bad luck, which is why I don’t go on and on about how I have such big emotions for this guy.
Kidman responded to the question of what she feels drew her and Urban together by stating that she believes they are “two lonely people.” Urban and Kidman each star in their own films.
“If I had to guess, I would say that two individuals who were really lonely happened to find one other at a moment when they were able to be vulnerable with one another. She went on to express how both fearful and courageous the group was at the time.
Since that time, the duo has been a mainstay in the entertainment industry and is widely regarded as one of the most successful and long-lasting power couples in the business.
Even now, 17 years after Kidman and Urban first exchanged “I do” with one another, their love for one another is only becoming stronger. On June 25, 2023, the mother of four marked the anniversary of their long marriage with an Instagram post that included a black and white snapshot of them cuddling while bringing their faces near together.
She captioned the cute photo, “Happy Anniversary my Love,” which was quite nice.
The picture swiftly amassed a large number of likes and comments from admirers who wished the pair a joyful time together and expressed their delight at seeing them together.
“Two really fortunate individuals to have discovered one another. “You are loved by so many,” a supporter said as a remark on the page of the media figure. The sentiment was echoed by a second follower, who said, “So happy that you two found each other..”
A third supporter expressed their hope that they will continue to work together in the future. They wrote, “Happy anniversary you lil love birds, wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness,” and they meant every word.
Kidman honored her husband on Father’s Day on June 18, 2023, just a few days before the couple was to celebrate their anniversary by posting an Instagram snap of their son or daughter riding a little tricycle with their dad.
“I want to wish the most awesome father in the world a happy Father’s Day! You are held in such high regard by all of us. Your daughters,” she wrote as the caption for the photo.
The artist received well wishes from a good number of the family’s followers on Father’s Day, and some of them said how much they adore him. Another supporter felt that he was very great.
“I am without a doubt the most awesome father, but shh! John,” they penned down.
The actress from “Moulin Rouge” seems to have a happy and successful life. When asked whether her life included everything at this point, she responded:
“Oh, absolutely! And it’s my life on the line. In the past, I tried to avoid life at all costs. I have come to terms with it. There is no way to tell how much time you have left. Consequently, I try to make the most of each and every moment.
