The terrible effect of Ian Epstein’s loss is now being felt as heartbreaking videos of the American Airlines flight attendant who perished in the jet accident in Washington, D.C., go viral.
According to his family, Ian passed doing what he loved. The video shows him amusing people on previous trips, cracking jokes, making clever comments, and even singing and dancing down the aisle.
His family said that he liked his job because he really enjoyed traveling and making new friends, which is obvious from the videos that are going viral online… showing him bringing his personality and sense of humor to the cabin.
He was a parent, stepfather, husband, and brother, and his loved ones mentioned that he was always focused on his family. They also said that he would be sincerely missed.
They tell us that although they are grateful for the love and support they have received, they need solitude to understand and mourn their loss.
The horrific midair collision between an American Airlines airplane and a military helicopter on Wednesday night claimed the lives of 67 people, including Ian and fellow flight attendant Danasia Elder. The reason of the disaster is still being looked into.
