Due to a mishandled maneuver on “Monday Night Raw” that left him with serious injuries, WWE Superstar JD McDonagh will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

The scenario took place during McDonagh’s bout against the Viking Raiders as a tag team member against Dominik Mysterio. Apparently, McDonagh grabbed too much air when trying to land a move from the ring apron to the floor, and he missed someone. Rather, his head struck the table of the announcer.

He managed to complete the battle, but according to several spectators, the 34-year-old collapsed on the ground as soon as he entered backstage.

Later that evening, JD wrote on social media that while he was well, he will be out for a few months due to a punctured lung and fractured ribs.

According to JD’s injury report, it seems that his head was miraculously okay after the terrible moment, which was the supporters’ main worry at the time.

Due to the illness, he will not be able to participate in the Royal Rumble event on Saturday. It is also possible that his condition may affect his participation in WrestleMania, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in 80 days.
