After sixteen years have gone since a special forces man saved a baby who was only six months old, the baby in question sent an invitation to the soldier to attend her graduation this spring.

Alena Tskaeva, who is now 16 years old and has graduated from high school, had a graduation party that could not have been possible if it were not for the brave efforts of a special forces officer in 2004. The officer saved her during the horrific school siege that took place in Beslan.

An lasting emblem of that tragic event, the mournful photograph of Elbrus Gogichaev holding the kid in his arms were widely disseminated all over the globe.

In spite of the fact that sixteen years have passed, Gogichaev is still plagued by the memories of that fatal day. However, in the spring, he accepted Alena’s offer to attend her graduation at the Beslan school.

A conversation between Alena and Gogichaev took place before to the beginning of the event, and Gogichaev left in a stealthy manner once the event was over. In spite of the fact that he is notorious for his unwillingness to interact with the media, he would rather put that bad day in the past.

The fact that this was not the first time that Alena and Elbrus had met after the catastrophe is something that should be brought to your attention. When he was present on September 1st, ten years ago, he was standing with the kids.

Alena expresses her love and admiration for him by calling him “Uncle Elbrus” and holding him in high respect. She acknowledges that she still has her whole life ahead of her as a result of his courage, which is a poignant gesture of gratitude and devotion.

The fact that there are people in our world who are so brave and courageous is a source of inspiration for us. These individuals are real heroes who continue to motivate us with their deeds of unselfish bravery.
