Be careful, everyone. According to a Fox News personality who has gotten into some trouble, grocery shopping is a job for women, therefore you should no longer go shopping in the afternoon with your wife.

Jesse Watters, who hosts a primetime program on the network that is named after him, tweeted a video that was released by the New York Post. The video shows Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, waiting in line to check out at a grocery shop.

After teasing the former vice president for purportedly only now understanding what inflation is since she is shopping for herself, Jesse turned to Doug and said, “What kind of husband goes grocery shopping with his wife?”

If you’re wondering if Jesse is saying that a husband doesn’t have to accompany his wife everywhere, it doesn’t appear that way. Later in the episode, he stated, “You don’t need to go grocery shopping with your wife; you should be able to exert price control from afar.”

So, Jesse is advising couples to watch their credit cards closely and to call out their spouses when they spend too much money, even if the husbands are not doing their fair share of the job at the business. This is not a fair distribution of work.

It is worth mentioning that Watters has been married two times. He was married to Noelle Watters from 2009 until 2019, but they divorced when he confessed to having an affair with Emma DiGiovine, who is now his wife. He and DiGiovine were married in 2019. According to his own criteria, it seems that Jesse has not set foot in a grocery shop in over 20 years.

These statements are not being received well online, as you could expect. It’s like a lead balloon that is on fire. People are accusing Jesse of being sexist, apologizing to his wife, and just making fun of him in general.

We have contacted Jesse, but we have not received a response yet. He may be preoccupied with controlling prices from behind the anchor’s desk.
