After going above and above for his profession, a local pizza delivery guy was thankful for the strangers who banded together to collect thousands of dollars for him, even if he didn’t have anything to show for it.
A video of Connor Stephanoff, who works at Rock Star Pizza in Indiana, went popular on social media when it was shared on TikTok. The video showed him making deliveries amid the piles of snow.
In the video that Officer Richard Craig released, Stephanoff was returning after a trip in the snowfall. He had walked over half a mile and was just wearing sweatpants and shoes. “Take a look at this guy. Craig said on the video, “This man went through hell and high water to deliver a pizza.”
The delivery guy said that he only earned $2 when Stephanoff asked him whether he at least got a nice tip for his efforts. “Completely crazy.” In response, Craig stated, “You all need to do better.”
Craig was so inspired after hearing Stephanoff’s tale that he made a second TikTok video and started a GoFundMe campaign. The first objective for the campaign was to raise $500 for the delivery guy.

He stated, “I was at the scene of a crash during Friday’s snowstorm here in Indiana, and I saw firsthand the work ethic, dedication, and determination of this young man.” “He got a tip of only $2, and it came from a house in a very wealthy neighborhood.”
He went on to say, “I ran to my police vehicle to grab my wallet so that I could give him the little cash that I had (about $15), which I didn’t think was enough.” “I would be thrilled to raise at least $500 for this guy!”
Craig was able to do more than what he had originally set out to do when hundreds of individuals gathered together. As of Friday, January 17, over $12,000 has been raised.
Stephanoff told local ABC station WRTV that he still has a hard time believing that the kindness of strangers is genuine, but it is.
Ron Mathews, the manager of Rock Star Pizza, said that he is aware of Stephanoff’s passion to his work and commended him for his commitment to his career.
“He didn’t know that people were watching him because he wasn’t in the restaurant.” However, he got out, strolled to the home, and returned without any expectations, Mathews told the publication.
Mathews also said that he is aware of the fact that many people are having financial difficulties these days.
“Everyone is having a hard time.” It is possessed by everybody. You could be the one. The delivery driver may be the one. However, he said during an interview with the local NBC station WSAZ that “at the end of the day, we’re all people.” “Simply treat the next person kindly.”
